When Shane was just nine, he found more than just an after-school care at Care Corner Student Care Centre. He found warmth, guidance from his teachers and a community that shaped his life’s trajectory.

From hot meals to lifelong friends (and even starting a Lion Dance club!), Care Corner gave him the support and love he needed as a young child.

Today, Shane is an accomplished actor and actively gives back to the community, hoping to offer others the support he had once received. He is also our Uplift For Life campaign ambassador.
