Each Backpack of Care contains essential items that alleviate some of our beneficiaries' everyday financial burdens. This includes items such as grocery vouchers, educational toys, stationery vouchers, school shoes, sports equipment, formula milk, diapers, health supplements, and more, depending on the beneficiary group selected.

The items in the backpack were carefully selected based on the needs of our beneficiaries. Our dedicated staff on the ground worked closely with the beneficiaries to understand their needs and preferences. This ensures that the items are not only useful but also tailored to their specific needs and interests.

We are also grateful to our sponsors, whose generosity enables us to meet the diverse needs of our beneficiaries through their donations.

For every $200 donated to the campaign via gifting 'Backpacks of Care', a Backpack of Care will be delivered to one of our beneficiaries within your selected group. You can choose which beneficiary group you would like to support, such as children with needs, youths with needs, families from disadvantaged backgrounds, or seniors with financial and frailty concerns.

Care Corner Singapore ensures that the the items will reach our beneficiaries through our established distribution channels. Our staff and volunteers will facilitate the distribution process, ensuring that the items reach those who need it most in a timely and efficient manner.

Yes. Care Corner Singapore is a registered Institution of a Public Character (IPC).

All donations $10 and above will be eligible for 250% tax-deduction on the donated sum (from now till 31 December 2026), upon the provision of Name and NRIC/FIN/UEN/ASGD/ITR.

Donations made by 31 December, and have opted for a tax-deduction will automatically be included in the tax assessment.

A tax-deductible receipt from Care Corner Singapore will be sent to the email address provided by 15th of the following month.

GST is not chargeable on donations.
